Girl Gang vs. Zombie Web Comic Celebrates First Birthday
This month marks the first anniversary of The Black Cherry Bombshells on Zuda.com. The girl-on-zombie action comic premiered in March 2008 against stiff competition to be award a publishing contract from DC Comics.
To celebrate, the creators are debuting never before seen sketches, scripts and Easter Eggs on their production blog throughout March.
The month long milestone kicks off with a photo retrospective covering 2008’s submission process to NY Comic Con 2009, the series of images capturing the dizzying experience of entering the comic book industry.
